GIFT TAGS USING CRICUT AND CTMH

I don't know about you but I am over the moon excited about the holidays starting.  I am especially excited because I am using CTMH products for crafting.  One thing I find fun are the stamp and die combos that are hitting the market.  This year I have found very attractive the triangle tree, yet because I craft so much and for so many people this time of year I like to craft on a budget.  When there is a die that I adore I have made it a habit to look at my Cricut Cartridges first, I got lucky, Art Philosphy had just what I was looking for and an opportunity to use a feature that I will now use TONS more,
the Center Point feature.

shapes are from pages 60 and 70, cut at 4 inches real dial size, these are  listed as cards, but found if I cut them small they worked perfectly as a tag, allowing me to sandwich another color in between
I am still getting use to the Center Point feature so I made a template to help make sure I was exactly in the center.  I wanted to cut the tree so I also made a template which can be found on page 31 cut at 3 inches, real dial size
the fun thing about this feature is that it really cuts in the center, but because I did not have alot of room I felt it better for me to use a template
dot marks the spot...lol
you will use your arrows to move the carriage to the correct spot
ensuring that you have the button pressed prior to hitting the cut button
you can see because I made my template and measured my image accordingly I was able to have my image cut in the right spot and in the center of my tag
To add texture I used an embossing folder to add texture; stamp set CTMH Holiday Tags Occasions (D1560)

This is the other style, but both I am super happy with.  Stamp set CTMH For Friend Occasions (D1542)

One other sample.  This image can be found on page 30

You know I enjoy "creating something handmade" and I am excited to have my Cricut to help me out.  I have tons of cartridges and explore them all the time to find just the right image.  The holidays are in full swing so it's time to gather your supplies and make your holiday projects.
