NEW RELEASE AND DT INSPIRATION

It's been awhile since I have colored and designed projects for My Besties, but I'm back and kickin things off with the summer release.

This is just 1 of the many adorable cuties

I still love stickers and after digging through my stash I was able to find the perfect beach sticker pairing it with a few sheets of pattern paper creating a 6x6 card

UNITY STAMP COMPANY BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Unity Stamp Company, Growing In Unity blog hop.  Growing In Unity is a program that was designed to give those that are super fans a chance to shine for a week...in my own words...A program that allows us to use our stamps the way we desire and in turn get to be featured on the company blog.

I just love how this company uses amazing red rubber and has the cutest images that are so functional in so many ways.  This blog has several ladies participating so if for any reason you start in the middle or just not whose participating be sure and check the Unity Blog.

I know it's April and I should be showcasing a bunny/Easter card or project, but in my heart its Christmas and I just love love this little guy.  I stamped on Kraft cardstock and used Black Momento Ink, coloring with Copic and Prisma Colored Pencils

UNITY STAMP COMPANY - GIU DAY 4

Welcome, welcome it's Day 4...ALREADY.  it amazes me what one can conquer when they are on a schedule.  I have managed to create everyday this week so far and truthfully it makes me over the moon happy that I am able to create and do what I love for not only fun, but for a living.

Black and white and stripes a perfect pair and my favorite combination.  I used my Cricut machine to achieve this look and very happy with the outcome.

I want to thank you again and again for stopping by my blog and supporting me this week and my love for Unity Stamp Company.

Don't forget leave a comment and on Saturday I will pick 2 lucky winners randomly to receive 25 stamps from Unity.

UNITY STAMP COMPANY - GIU DAY 3

It's officially hump day and I want to thank you for hanging out with me.

There are days that I sit down and create and I struggle with white space being left open...I don't know it sometimes just seems as if there needs to be something to cover it up, yet today this card just works for me.  I love dark blue with the bright colors.

I used a sentiment from Angie Girl (cares for what she loves), it's perfect for this delicate card

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a random stamp pack from Unity Stamp Company

UNITY STAMP COMPANY - GROWING IN UNITY DAY 2

Thank you so much for stopping by for yet another day of Growing In Unity feature post.
I wanted to say it with words, so I picked a sentiment from EVERYTHING WONDERFUL a kit I use often from 2013.  When you have a sentiment that says just enough it makes my cards just perfect!

Because this is a 2 stamp image, I wanted to make sure my sentiment was centered into the circle, so I pulled out my Stamp-a-ma-jig Stamping tool.  I tell you this is the best tool ever for placement.

You basically align the acetate sheet in the corner of the acrylic L shaped block, you align your stamp in the same corner and stamp on the acetate sheet over the surface you will be stamping on.  You then remove the acetate sheet and stamp directly onto your surface.

and just like that you have a centered stamped image.

Thank you so very much for stopping, don't forget I will randomly pick 2 winners from all those that comment during the week to receive a prize pack of 25 random stamps from Unity Stamp Company.
Don't  forget to visit my GIU partner for the week Judy, who is an card maker and huge Unity fan like me!!!

For my project I used this super, duper cute exclusive wood stamps I got several years ago.  Stamped the image seveal time in different colors using Momento Ink and cut them out using my Brother Scan-N-Cut.  A tag, some washi and just like that cuteness on a card

Unity exclusive, limited edition, wood engraved Unity Red Rubber Stamp...sounds wonderful doesn't it?  Well let me tell you, all the stamps created by Unity are just that...WONDERFUL!!!

UNITY STAMP COMPANY - GROWING IN UNITY DAY 5

Day 5 and while all things must come to an end, I can truly say I have enjoyed dreaming of ways to use my Unity Stamps.  It's amazing how you can do so much with one stamp set.  Variety and versatility is one of the reason why I have been a long standing customer with Unity, I can truly say they design a little something for each and every one of us for just about every occasion, THANK YOU UNITY for this opportunity

One thing I do enjoy about this stamp set you can color or you can paper piece and you can mask...What is masking you ask?  It is a technique where you can stamp the image onto a light weight (copy paper or sticky note) and create magic.  I wanted my Little Ladies to be in a group, so I used a mask to get my images close together without stamping over the image.  If you look at the picture above you will see the mask gets stamped on, not the actual image.

I then did some inking and then used my dies to multi cut the words FROM US and stacked the die cuts to have the wording pop from the card

I truly thank you for stopping by my blog this week and that you have enjoyed my Growing In Unity feature.
Leave a comment, I will be picking from all the guest this week and 2 lucky people will win a prize pack sent to you from Unity Stamp Company

xoxo

This card was all about the colors and patterns

I cut this image out 3 times and used foam tape to add dimension
