The incredible, edible, egg (white) that is.  I am fascinated with the things you can do with food, especially egg whites.  The Egg In A Cloud is what this is called.  I still have yet to perfect the egg staying in tack and in the middle, but the more I looked at the finished product I was happy with the way it looked.

So basically you are cracking open an egg and separating the egg with out breaking the yolk.  You take your egg whites and beat them until they are stiff and fluffy.  You then spoon the egg whites onto your baking sheet, creating a well for the yolk to sit in.  Preheat the oven to 450, and you will place the sheet into the oven for 3 or so minutes (time will vary based on your oven)

My Son was not that impressed, but my Daughter and I gave it a thumbs up...

I love the photo and to add contrast I sat it on a spinach leave and sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese.|
