Welcome to my blog post, I am on day 3 of my week long project post for Growing In Unity, this is so much fun creating and sharing my projects. I sure appreciate this opportunity and I appreciate all the comments that are coming from other Unity Stamp fans, thank you it means alot.
I just love this little guy to pieces, so much so that I turned him into an ornament, this just seemed like the right thing to do so that I can enjoy him on the tree.
This ornament is made from 3 ingredients: salt, flour and water. To make salt dough mix one cup flour, 1/2 cup salt and 1/2 water. You knead until smooth, then take a rolling pen to flatten to about 1/4 inches. Stamp with your favorite ink, cut out, then bake on 250 for about 2 hours. Super easy!!! If you need less cut the recipe in half, but keep in mind this dough does not store well, so make what you need. And if you are going to hang your pieces ensure to poke the hole prior to baking.
I like to embellish, but enjoyed the main piece in it's natural color
Thank you and I appreciate you stopping by my blog. I hope that you will consider
"creating something handmade" for the holiday. Don't forget, leave a comment for a chance to win 2 Itty Bitty Stamps of your choice from Unity Stamp Company, winner announce on Friday
